As the world continues to turn, there seems to be a growing number of Americans choosing to pack up their lives and live on the road! This lifestyle is defined as modern nomadic and is becoming an ever growing trend as the pandemic continues to redefine our lives. It`s not just young, adventurous single couples , but whole families are choosing to downsize, pack it all up and hit the road.... permanently. Most of us would ask, why? Minimalism, tiny home purchases and nomadic lifestyles has become the alternative to big city living and overworking to pay a mortgage. In the midst of the 3rd wave of the COVID pandemic, millions of Americans realized the importance of family and living to work instead of working to live. I`m sure, living a nomadic lifestyle has it`s benefits as well as it`s drawbacks. For families with children, I`m sure the question of how it eventually effects educational and social growth. Do children living a nomadic lifestyle meet the same social & educational markers as those that live sedentary lifestyles? For couples, how does living in such a small place, with no "escape" plan effect the ebbs and flows of marriage? Like most life experiences, I believe it depends on the individuals. I`d say, if you couldn't stand your spouse in a 3500 square feet home, downsizing to 300 square feet probably isn't a solution to pre existing marital problems either.

Sometimes, hiring a professional RV cleaning service isn't in the budget. Have no fear road warriors, check out these tips to keep your recreational vehicle clean and road ready! First, start by opening all the interior windows in order to allow air circulation. Letting the space ‘breathe’ releases any stuffy or stale air. 1. Inspect the ceilings of the RV. Look for discoloration, which could indicate RV water damage. Start with a simple wipe down of the ceiling. Once this section of cleaning is complete, turn the fan on for increased air circulation. 2. Empty cabinets and toss anything from last camping season that’s no longer useable. Once cabinets are empty, start wiping the interior clean with bleach and hot water (or your preferred cleaning solution) and go from one side of the RV to the other. 3. Remove bedding, cushions and drapes Bedding : Wash, dry and replace Cushions : Wash any removable cushion covers or use a vacuum attachment Drapery : Either remove and shake off dust or clean appropriately and replace Be careful before applying cleaning products to fabrics as some RV upholsteries contain fire and stain retardant that may cause fading or shrinking. 4. Clean floors and carpets. It`s a great idea to buy a portable vacuum cleaner or small whiskbroom with dustpan to keep in your RV.
